Delta

Delta is a beautiful, approximately 4-year-old Rottweiler. She's currently a little underweight at 76 lbs but is on the mend and on her way to a healthy ~90 lbs. Delta came to us as a stray, and while her past is unclear, her condition suggests she may have been used for breeding and then discarded. Despite her challenging history, Delta remains incredibly gentle and sensitive. She is a quiet observer who slowly leans in when she feels safe, forming deep bonds over time.

The world can still be a bit overwhelming for Delta, and loud noises or sudden movements might startle her. However, in a calm and steady environment, she is already beginning to settle and show her sweet, loving nature. She isn't difficult; she's simply learning what safety feels like after being undernourished and overstimulated.

Ideal Home

Delta would thrive in a foster or forever home that is calm and low-traffic. She needs a patient, grounded person who understands that trust is built over time and will give her the space she needs to decompress. Consistency and structure will be key to her continued progress.

Ongoing Health

Delta is currently underweight but is gaining weight and regaining her strength. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Delta is house-trained. Her primary need is for a patient owner who will allow her to build trust at her own pace and provide a stable, consistent environment as she continues to learn what safety feels like.
