About Maxx

Meet Max! This handsome 4-year-old German Shepherd/Lab mix has a serious zest for life and a whole lot of personality packed into one very good boy. Before coming into rescue, Max was in a stressful shelter environment where he couldn't show his true colors. Thankfully, he got his second chance and has absolutely thrived in foster care. We've gotten to see the real Max: a happy, enthusiastic boy who loves life and is always ready to enjoy whatever the day brings. Max can be a little aloof with strangers at first, but once you're in his circle, he becomes your best buddy and a loyal companion. He's great with other dogs and has a mild curiosity about cats that can be managed with proper introductions.

Ideal Home

Max is looking for an adult-only home without children where his boundaries will be respected and he can continue being the happy, thriving dog we've come to know and love.
