Layla

Layla is a gorgeous American Bulldog/Curr mix with a heart full of love and a personality that's as goofy as it is sweet! This 2-year-old lady joined the CAFA family as a youngster and, despite facing challenges with her hind legs, she's emerged as a resilient and affectionate companion. Our vets diagnosed her with bilateral cruciate ligament damage, a condition that required extensive surgery and therapy. Now, post-recovery, Layla is ready to find her forever home. She's fixed, fully vetted, and is on Proheart 12 for heartworm prevention.

Ideal Home

Layla thrives with gentle playmates and would likely do well with most canine companions, provided they aren't too rough and tumble, to protect her healing knees. She'd also likely do well with dog-savvy children and may even adjust to a feline friend with a slow introduction. Her ideal home will be with a family that can provide ongoing care as she ages.

Ongoing Health

Layla has undergone surgery to repair bilateral cruciate ligament damage in both knees. She is currently on Proheart 12 for heartworm prevention. Her forever family should be prepared for potential future veterinary care as she ages.

Training & Support

Layla is incredibly loving and will be your shadow, always wanting to be near you. She's very vocal and enjoys constant affection and conversation. She needs a home that will continue to help her be her best self and be mindful of her past injuries.
