Sandy has so much love to give and is eager to share it with her forever family.

Ideal Home

Sandy thrives in a home with at least one other dog, as they help build her confidence. A patient family who will give her time to adjust to new surroundings is a must. A secure, fenced yard is also required for her safety and exploration. While she is great with all dogs and even cat-tolerant, she would do best in a home with older, respectful children who understand her need for space.

Ongoing Health

Sandy is fully vetted, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injection, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.

Training & Support

This sweet girl is fully crate trained and 100% potty trained. She walks beautifully on a leash, is non-reactive to distractions, and enjoys short car rides. While she's not treat-motivated by typical rewards, she can't resist Colby Jack cheese! She is very quiet and rarely barks. Sandy loves affection but on her own terms, often indicating when she wants attention with slow movements. She enjoys chin scratches, head rubs, and chest massages.

Transporation

Sandy is located in the Greater Houston area, Texas. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area. Transport to other locations may be available with an additional surcharge.
