Paisley is an approximately 3-year-old, 67-pound pittie mix who is pure sweetness and affection. She's a social butterfly who loves belly rubs and will greet any guest with warmth, quickly making them her new best friend. Paisley is happy to be the center of attention, but also enjoys being a couch potato by your side. She's eager to please, responsive to commands, and walks nicely on a leash, settling down with a little guidance when excited by other dogs. While she can be a bit wiggly and enthusiastic when first meeting other dogs, she enjoys a quick game of chase before relaxing. She does best with calm, confident dogs, preferably males, but would also be perfectly happy as your one and only furry companion. Paisley is flexible about living arrangements, whether in a home with a yard or an apartment, as long as she gets plenty of snuggles. She would do best in a family with older children who can appreciate her calmer demeanor. Paisley is a gorgeous, devoted, and affectionate dog ready to be your perfect best friend!
Ideal Home
Paisley would do best in a home with older children. She would also be happy as an only pet or with calm, confident male dogs who are not easily fazed by her initial playful enthusiasm.
Ongoing Health
Paisley is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies. She is also current on flea prevention and receives a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has tested negative for heartworm.
Training & Support
Paisley is responsive to commands and gentle corrections. She walks well on a leash and checks in with her person when excited by other dogs. Her foster family has been working on her initial enthusiasm when meeting other dogs, which she settles from with guidance.

Paisley is located in Texas and can be transported to various drop-off locations nationwide, including WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. A transport surcharge of $87 applies. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT.
