Meet Kipster, a 41-pound pup with a big personality and a love for adventure! Kipster is a natural-born leader who enjoys exploring his surroundings and has a strong opinion about sharing his food. He's great with kids and some dogs, but he likes his space when it comes to mealtime. Kipster loves zooming around, being outdoors, and even has a fondness for banjo music! He's a smart, independent pup with charm and a hint of mischief, making him a loyal sidekick for an active family.
Ideal Home
Kipster would thrive in an active home with someone who loves the outdoors. He needs a tall, secure fence, as he is a skilled climber and considered a "door dasher." Chain-link fences will not be sufficient.
Ongoing Health
Kipster is eligible for a "Senior Dog Adoption Reimbursement Program." Up to $300 per year for the life of the animal is available for qualifying purchases such as wellness exams, annual vaccinations, and heartworm prevention. Adopters are responsible for taking Kipster to their veterinarian for services and submitting receipts for reimbursement.
Training & Support
Kipster has calmed down significantly and is starting to listen better. He enjoys outdoor activities and is eager to explore.

- A fenced yard is required. A video showing the entire fence will be needed to verify there are no escape routes. Invisible fences are not accepted.
- A veterinary reference is required for previous and current pet owners, who must have been current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. If no previous veterinary history, a 3-month supply of heartworm prevention from our vet will be required.
- If renting, landlord verification of pet acceptability and any restrictions is needed.
- Since meet-and-greets aren't possible, homes with other dogs/cats will be at the discretion of our adoption team.
