Buster Butters is a 3-year-old, 65 lb pittie mix with soulful, golden-green eyes and an incredibly loving personality. He's described as being as soft as a crescent roll, always up for an adventure, smart as a whip, and fiercely loyal. Buster adores people and would be a fantastic companion for a family with children. He has a gentle nature and an immediate desire to shower everyone with affection. He's also very treat-motivated, eager to please, and already knows commands like "sit," "shake," and "drop it." Buster is house-trained, crate-trained, and has excellent house manners. He's a medium-energy dog who enjoys exploring, hiking, or simply playing fetch in the yard, and he's happy to end the day snuggled up with his favorite humans.

Ideal Home

Buster would thrive in a home where he can be your one and only fur baby, soaking up all the love and attention. He's adaptable and could be happy in a condo on the outskirts of the city or a suburban home with a backyard. He would also be a great companion for someone who works from home, as he enjoys entertaining himself with toys.

Training & Support

Buster is smart, treat-motivated, and eager to please, making him a great candidate for continued training. He already knows several basic commands and has excellent house manners. He is crate-trained and potty-trained.

Buster is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (with pickup options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
