Bambi is a four-year-old, 50-pound sweetheart with the tenderest of hearts and the gentlest of souls. She is calm and relaxed in the house, enjoys resting at the foot of the couch or on her blanket, and is both house-trained and crate-trained. Bambi is learning basic commands like "come," "sit," "leave it," "off," and "place," and responds very well to treats, especially hot dogs. She's a bright girl who seems to know what you want from her. Bambi enjoys camping, settles well in a tent, and is happy to walk by the water's edge without swimming. She also rides well in the car. Back at the shelter, Bambi is an enthusiastic companion on walks, loves being by your side, and enjoys playing with toys in the yard. She adores being petted, loved on, and is a wonderful cuddle buddy. Bambi has enjoyed meeting other dogs in play groups and is good-natured and congenial.
