Tonya

Tonya is a sweet, shy 8-month-old pup, weighing around 35-40lbs. She's been with us for a couple of months and while she's still a bit nervous around people, we can see her longing for connection and love. She's made slow but steady progress, and we believe a quieter environment with less going on would allow her to truly blossom. Tonya is spayed, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccinations. She currently lives with other dogs and cats, though her interactions with cats haven't been extensive, so her cat-friendliness is still to be determined.

Ideal Home

Tonya would thrive in a calm home without small children or excessive distractions. She needs plenty of one-on-one attention to build her confidence and trust.

Tonya is spayed, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on all her vaccinations.

Training & Support

Tonya is mostly crate trained and has experience with a doggy door, showing good progress with housetraining. However, she will need continued housetraining reinforcement in her new home. She also needs leash training, as she hasn't had regular walks and can be hesitant with new experiences due to her nervousness. With patience and love, Tonya is sure to become a devoted and loving companion.
