Freckles, wiggles, and a happy hop in her step – that's Pippi Longstocking! This petite, bright-eyed girl is full of spunky sweetness and sees the world as her personal playground. She's estimated to be about 2 years old, weighs 37 lbs, and is likely a staffie-style mix. Pippi is a joyful, medium-sized dog with plenty of energy and a heart as big as her personality.
She walks beautifully on leash with a relaxed pace and responds well to gentle correction. When she receives affection, she becomes almost giddy with enthusiasm, letting out adorable bursts of pure joy that are sure to make you giggle.
Pippi is friendly and confident with other dogs, but she doesn't need to be best friends with everyone. She plays energetically, zooming and engaging confidently, and has done best with confident female dogs and males overall. She's not the best fit for a timid dog as her play style can be bold. She does, however, respond well to clear boundaries and structure.
She readily enters her crate without any fuss, which is a big win! Pippi would thrive with an active family who enjoys outdoor adventures and appreciates a dog who greets each day with celebration. Her reaction to cats was mixed and inconclusive, so we'd love to see her in a home with a cat or two to better understand her interactions. Pippi is a medium-sized dog with a big joy, big presence, and a big heart, and she's ready for a family to share her sparkle with!
