Hazel is a sweet, cautious girl with a heart of gold! She's about 2 years old and weighs 50 lbs. Hazel is very smart and knows "sit," "stay," and "spin." While she can be a little fearful in new situations, she truly blossoms once she feels safe and secure. She is incredibly loving and affectionate, adoring cuddles and belly rubs. Hazel has spent time in training, walks well on a leash, and responds to commands. She also gets along well with other dogs and has a gorgeous brindle coat that shines in the sun.
Hazel came to us after living with her previous owner for about a year and a half. Sadly, he had to surrender her due to long work hours that kept him away more than 12 hours a day. At first, Hazel was timid and unsure, but she has really started to shine here. The structure of her training environment has been very similar to ours, which makes us confident she will transition smoothly into her forever home. Once Hazel feels comfortable, she is incredibly loving and affectionate. She enjoys cuddles, belly rubs, and being close to her people. She's smart, attentive, and eager to please, showing off all the commands she has learned in training. What Hazel wants most is to give unconditional love and share her life with a family who will let her blossom. She's a dog who will start off reserved but quickly become your most loyal companion, rewarding patience with endless devotion.
