Ella

Meet Ella, a sweet and soulful 3-year-old German Shepherd mix who weighs about 38 lbs. Ella's journey began on the streets of Afghanistan, where she, her sister Diva, and their injured mother were rescued. She has shown incredible quiet strength in overcoming hardship. While she'd love to stay with her sister, Ella is ready to find a loving home of her own where she can truly thrive. She is house-trained and responds best to gentle encouragement and lots of affection.

Ideal Home

Ella would love a home with a canine companion, as she does great with other dogs. She also needs a yard to enjoy her love for playtime. She is very gentle with children and would likely do well in a home with them. Ella is not suited for homes with cats or small animals.

Ongoing Health

Ella is spayed and vaccinated. She can get a little sensitive in cars, and long rides may make her queasy.

Training & Support

Ella is house-trained and crate-trained. She's a yard enthusiast who loves to play!
