Gohan

Gohan is one of those dogs who quietly breaks your heart. This sweet, loving 5-year-old boy found himself reduced to just another number in a crowded Texas shelter after his owner passed away. With no family or friends willing to take him in, Gohan—who had clearly known love and stability—suddenly lost everything he understood as home. When we first saw him in his kennel, our hearts sank. Gohan was scared, shaking, and completely shut down. He didn’t understand why his life had changed so suddenly, or why he was being “punished” for circumstances beyond his control. The confusion and sadness in his eyes said everything. But once we got him out of the shelter and brought him to the ranch where some of our pups are fostered, the real Gohan began to shine. This is a dog who loves deeply and gently. Gohan revealed himself to be sweet, well-behaved, and incredibly affectionate—the kind of boy who bonds with his whole heart. He is dog friendly and thrives on companionship. Imagine how happy this boy would be with a soft bed, a steady routine, and someone to love him for the rest of his life. Gohan is fully vetted, up to date on all vaccines, neutered, and heartworm negative. He is a little overweight, but that’s an easy fix with regular meals, walks, and love.
