Forty

Forty is a brave and resilient young shepherd mix, about 1 year old and estimated to be around 40 pounds when fully grown. She has the most adorable ears and a sweet face that hints at her German Shepherd heritage. Forty's journey to us was truly heroic; she was rescued by an HPD Tactical Team during a dangerous situation where she was cruelly used as a hostage. Despite this terrifying ordeal, she showed incredible resilience and immediately sought comfort from her rescuers. She's now safe in our care, learning to play with other dogs and adjust to a loving life. She is mostly crate-trained and ready to leave her past behind.
