Ginger(bonded with Skeeter)

Skeeter and Ginger are a precious bonded pair of 14-year-old Miniature Poodles whose lives changed when their beloved senior owner could no longer care for them due to declining health. Now they're hoping to find a loving family where they can spend their golden years together. These sweet, gentle companions are happiest simply being near their people. Whether they're curled up beside you on the couch or quietly following you from room to room, Skeeter and Ginger just want to share life's everyday moments with someone they love. They would make wonderful companions for a retired individual, couple, or anyone who spends a lot of time at home. They also enjoy each other's company and get along well with other dogs of all sizes.

Ideal Home

They need a home with no children under the age of 12. They may not be the best match for apartment or shared-wall living due to Skeeter's vocal nature.

Ongoing Health

Both dogs recently received clean bills of health at their wellness exams and are up to date on their veterinary care. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, have received a ProHeart 12 injection for year-round heartworm protection, and are maintained on monthly flea and tick preventatives. Senior wellness exams and bloodwork were all within normal limits.

Training & Support

They're mostly house-trained when kept on a regular schedule. Skeeter may benefit from wearing a belly band while he settles into a new routine, but he wears one comfortably and without complaint. At bedtime, both pups sleep soundly through the night without accidents. Skeeter is a vocal little guy who enjoys announcing visitors and sharing his opinions.
