Approx. 2 years old and weighing around 53 lbs, Isaac is a handsome, playful, and very active guy with a big personality and an affectionate heart! He was rescued by Mostly Mutts and adopted into a home where he spent over a year, but sadly, it wasn't the right long-term fit. Now, Isaac is back with us, eagerly searching for his perfect match. He thrives with plenty of exercise, structure, and guidance, and he's hoping to find a family that enjoys an active lifestyle. Could that be you?
Ideal Home
Isaac is a strong boy with a big personality who loves people and has lots of fun energy. He's looking for a family that can provide plenty of exercise, structure, and guidance to help him be his best. His former owner noted he could be destructive when not kept busy, so an active home that can keep his mind and body engaged with appropriate activities will help him succeed. If you have a resident dog, Isaac has met dogs at our shelter and at his former home and has done well, so let's arrange a meet-and-greet! His former family reported he liked kids, but they also mentioned he's a strong boy who can jump, so if you have children, a home without very young toddlers he might accidentally bump over would be best. Cats are unknown.

Isaac is current on his annual vaccinations, is micro-chipped, and has been neutered.
Training & Support
Isaac has mastered several commands, including sit, stay, come, drop it, leave it, place, and down. He also accepts friendly strangers without jumping and uses proper door etiquette. He is crate trained and was previously potty trained, though he has had some accidents since returning to Mostly Mutts. His adoptive family will have access to the free lifetime training classes offered by Mostly Mutts for all adopted dogs. Isaac enjoys toys and can sometimes be found enthusiastically de-stuffing his favorite plush toys! He loves to play but also enjoys giving and receiving affection and is naturally curious and enjoys exploring.
