Spike here! I might have a "manly" name, but I'm really a big goofball who's just grateful to be alive. I was rescued from a high-kill shelter in West Texas and have been getting my heartworm treatment and enjoying life with my friends. Now, I'm ready to find my forever family! I'm smart, silly, playful, and happy.

Ideal Home

I'm a Husky, so I need a family who understands the breed! Huskies are active, known escape artists, and shed a lot. I'm good with other dogs, but I'm a dominant boy, so I'd do best as an only dog or with a submissive canine friend. I'd love to leave the hot Texas weather behind and would absolutely thrive in a cooler climate.

Ongoing Health

I've just finished my heartworm treatment, so I'm all cleared up and ready to go!

Training & Support

I'm still working on house training, but I'm a smart boy and eager to learn. With patience and consistency, I'll be a great companion.
