About Thor

Meet Thor

Thor is a thick, lovable Labrador with a gentle soul and a very clear idea of what makes a good life.

Born January 2020, he's an old soul at heart and has fully embraced the homebody lifestyle. Thor isn't looking for marathon walks or big outdoor adventures. In fact, if you bring out a leash, he may politely (and firmly) put on the brakes.

What he does love is hanging out in the yard, soaking up fresh air at his own pace, and then heading back inside to be wherever his people are.

And by wherever... we mean wherever. Thor is a certified stage-5 clinger. He wants to supervise dinner prep, nap at your feet during a Netflix marathon, and generally make sure you're never alone in any room of the house.

He's affectionate, loyal, and happiest when he feels included. Thor would do best with a family with kids 8 and up who understand doggy etiquette. He can take a little time to feel fully at home, but once he does, his attachment runs deep. Consistency, patience, and kindness go a long way with this guy.

When you need to leave the house, Thor prefers to relax in his crate—it's his safe space. While walks aren't his thing, he does enjoy car rides, especially if they end at a drive-thru window.

Thor is looking for a fenced yard, a calm household, and people who will accept and love him just the way he is: a loyal, low-key companion who believes the best place to be is at home, with his family.

If your idea of a perfect day involves staying in, moving at a slower pace, and always having a devoted shadow by your side, Thor might just be your perfect match.

NOTE: Thor will be successful in a home with no other dogs or a female dog who matches his lifestyle and outlook on life.

Thor's adoption donation is $150 which includes his neuter, vaccines and microchip.
