Meet Tessa!

At approximately 1-year-old, Tessa is a tiny Yorkshire Terrier mix with a huge capacity for love. She's not the kind of dog who gives her heart away to everyone she meets; instead, she chooses her people carefully. She may be a little shy when meeting someone new, but it doesn't take long before her sweet personality shines through. Once you've earned her trust, you'll have a devoted best friend who wants nothing more than to spend every moment by your side. This sweet girl is the definition of a loyal companion. Expect a constant shadow, a professional cuddle buddy, and a little princess who believes laps were invented specifically for her. Tessa has a wonderfully playful side, too. She loves carrying around little stuffed toys, happily chewing on her favorite chew sticks, and chasing her own tail just for fun. Pull out a treat and she'll dance around on her little feet, putting on an adorable performance that's guaranteed to make you smile.

Ideal Home

Tessa would thrive in a calm home where she can continue to blossom, spend time with her favorite people, and enjoy all the cuddles, toys, and treats she can handle. She wants nothing more than to be close to her person.

Ongoing Health

Tessa is spayed, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Tessa is housebroken and non-destructive when left alone. She is good with cats and good with small, calm dogs. She loves sleeping snuggled up in bed all night.
