Tanuki

Meet Tanuki, a charming 69-pound senior gentleman of approximately 12-14 years. When he first came to us, it seemed like he wouldn't move, but it turned out he was suffering from lumbar spondylosis, arthritis, and heartworm disease. After receiving treatment for his heartworms and starting on pain management, Tanuki has made a truly remarkable transformation! He's now happy, comfortable, and enjoying his second chance at life with enthusiasm. He's eager to soak up all the love he can get and happily returns it twofold. Tanuki is wonderfully polite with other dogs and we suspect he'd be just as easygoing with cats. His favorite things in the world are splashing in a pool and playing fetch!
