Malia is a resilient and loving mama who endured a tough start in life. Rescued from a dilapidated home in Georgia, she was found critically ill and severely underweight, yet she still managed to care for her three newborn puppies. Her journey almost ended due to a life-threatening intestinal blockage caused by swallowed metal, but Malia is a true fighter and survivor. Now, she's blossomed into a confident, gentle, and affectionate girl who greets everyone with a wagging tail and warm eyes. She enjoys playtime and chewing on her favorite toys, and her treat-motivated nature makes her a quick learner – she already knows "sit"! Malia is people-friendly and dog-friendly, and her cheerful disposition is sure to bring smiles to everyone around her. While she might occasionally bark at her reflection, she's polite on leash and full of heart. Malia is eagerly awaiting her next chapter, one where she can experience the love, comfort, and security she truly deserves.
