Barnie is a quirky, wiggly, and happy-go-lucky guy who is bursting with personality! Despite a heartbreaking past where he endured unimaginable cruelty and neglect, Barnie remains incredibly trusting and a total dork. He was found chained with a heavy chain, severely emaciated, and in the aftermath of a dogfighting raid. It's a true testament to his spirit that he is still full of life and so eager to love. Barnie's whole body wiggles with excitement when he sees people, and he greets the world with joy and curiosity. He absolutely loves getting out of his kennel for walks and playtime in the yard, where his playful and unique personality truly shines. He thrives on companionship and is ready for a fresh start with a loving family who will cherish him.

Ideal Home

Barnie would do best in a home with another dog that matches his energetic personality. He would also do well with respectful children aged 12 and up, and possibly younger children. His history suggests he may not be suitable for a home with chickens, and his compatibility with cats and other small animals is unknown.
