JOEY

Joey is a super cute, approximately 2-year-old boy with golden tan fur and beautiful green eyes. He's a sweet, energetic, and playful pup who loves being with people, snuggling up, and going on walks. Joey lives with foster dog siblings and really enjoys playful antics with his foster sister, who is larger than him. He walks well on a leash and knows basic commands like SIT, STAY, and DOWN. Joey is also a good boy who will sit and wait for his food until he's given the okay to start eating. He is crate trained for workdays and nights and enjoys outdoor breaks and a daily walk. When inside, Joey has not shown any destructive tendencies around furniture.

Ideal Home

Joey would do best in a home without small pets. He would enjoy another dog his size or larger to play with, but he would also be happy as an only dog since he loves people and would appreciate having you to himself.

Ongoing Health

Joey is currently heartworm positive and is undergoing treatment. He is still adoptable during this time.

Training & Support

Joey walks well on a leash, knows basic commands, and is crate trained. He has not shown destructive behaviors indoors.
