Leela

Leela is a resilient and affectionate adult female mixed breed who has overcome a difficult past. She came to us as a stray with scars from chemical burns and an enlarged right eye, which affects her vision. Despite her challenges, Leela's spirit shines bright! She loves her walks, playtime, and is especially motivated by food, making training sessions fun and rewarding. She’s eager to learn new tricks and is working on her leash manners. Leela is microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and spayed. She is ready to find a loving home that will cherish her for the wonderful companion she is becoming.

Leela deserves a family who will see past her hardships and shower her with love and patience.

Ongoing Health

Leela has moderate visual impairment in her right eye and requires daily eye drops to aid in her recovery.

Training & Support

Leela is eager to learn and responds well to positive reinforcement, especially treats! She is currently working on her leash manners and would benefit from continued training.
