Meet Benedict, or Benny as we affectionately call him! This sweet boy is a few months old and is already showing us what a loyal and loving companion he's going to be. Benny has the most soulful eyes and soft, floppy ears that will melt your heart. He's a bit bigger than his siblings, but we expect him to grow into a perfect mid-size dog, around 50 lbs, who can join you on adventures and then snuggle up with you at the end of the day.
Benny has a tender and observant nature. He might take a moment to warm up in new situations, but once he feels safe, his affectionate and goofy personality shines through. He loves playing with his siblings and other dogs and is perfectly content just being near his people, soaking up love and reassurance. He's incredibly special and seems to have a wonderful emotional intuition.
Benny is a social butterfly who loves all dogs, kids, and people! He inherited his mama's incredible temperament and thrives on companionship. While he hasn't met any cats yet, his calm and easygoing nature suggests he'd likely adjust well with proper introductions.

Ongoing Health
Benny was born with entropion, a common genetic condition where the lower eyelids roll inward, causing irritation to the eye. He underwent successful corrective surgery early on and is healing beautifully. This procedure will not impact his quality of life, and he's expected to live a completely normal, happy life.
Training & Support
Benny is already crate trained and doing great with potty training. He's a smart pup who is eager to please and responds wonderfully to kindness and consistency.

- Benny comes fully vetted, including: 3 DHPP vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, Rabies vaccine, Canine Influenza vaccine, deworming, microchip, and monthly heartworm + flea/tick prevention.
Transporation
Our rescue is based in Houston, Texas, but we work with foster homes across multiple regions. Transport is available to approved adopters for an additional fee.
