Riley

Riley is a wonderfully energetic girl who's ready to find her forever home! We think she's a medium-sized dog, but her breed is just our best guess. She's a happy-go-lucky pup who loves to play, go for walks, and keep an eye on the world from the window. Riley is a smart cookie who knows "sit" and kennels like a pro. She's also a quick learner when it comes to house training and hasn't had any accidents.

Ideal Home

Riley would thrive in an active home with plenty of opportunities for her to burn off energy. She enjoys playing with other dogs and would likely do well with a dog-savvy cat. She's great with kids and enjoys their company.

Training & Support

Riley's foster notes that she has a strong prey drive, especially when it comes to squirrels and other small animals. This means she can pull hard on the leash when she sees something she wants to chase. With some consistent leash training, she'll learn to manage her excitement. When she's focused on prey, it can be harder to get her attention, but she's generally a good listener. Riley can be a bit jumpy and demanding when she wants attention, sometimes nudging or getting in your face. With gentle redirection and consistent training, she'll learn to greet people more calmly.
