Loki

Loki is a big, strong, young German Shepherd boy who is as exuberant, friendly, and full of life as they come! He absolutely loves to play, enjoys affection, and is incredibly food and toy motivated, which makes him a joy to train. Loki is currently working on his greeting manners, specifically not jumping up, and he's making fantastic progress!

His previous owner had to make the tough decision to surrender Loki due to hip and multiple spinal surgeries. She loved him dearly but knew he needed a home that could provide the activity, structure, and exercise a vibrant young dog like him deserves. Loki spent much of his early life on a run with limited exercise, so he missed out on some important socialization opportunities. Since arriving at GSRNE, Loki has blossomed! He adores his walking adventures, curiously exploring his surroundings. We've also been focusing on his obedience training, and he's doing wonderfully!

Ideal Home

Loki will do best in a home with someone who has solid German Shepherd experience and an active lifestyle. His size, strength, and enthusiasm mean he needs a confident handler who can match his energy.

Loki is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Loki is learning not to jump when greeting people and is showing great improvement. Continued training, structure, and plenty of love will help him become an amazing lifelong companion. He is house-trained and knows basic commands.
