Meet Jasper!
Jasper is a charming senior Pomeranian, weighing around 10lbs, who is a survivor of a puppy mill. He's looking for a patient and understanding adopter who can give him the time he needs to blossom in his new life. Jasper is working hard on his house training and just needs a consistent routine with frequent potty breaks. He's not a fan of crates and enjoys short, leisurely leashed walks. He gets along well with other dogs, but would do best with a canine companion of similar size who isn't too boisterous. A secure, fenced yard is a must for Jasper so he can safely enjoy his occasional bursts of zoomies! He would thrive in a quiet, kid-free home where he can feel secure and relaxed. Once he trusts you, Jasper is quite friendly, though he's not much of a cuddler at this time.
Ideal Home
Jasper would love a quiet home with a secure, fenced yard. He needs a kid-free environment and would do best with a dog companion of similar size and temperament. Adopters should be comfortable lifting and carrying him short distances as he sometimes struggles with stairs.
Ongoing Health
Jasper has some sight impairment and receives daily eye medication, which he tolerates well.
Training & Support
Jasper is doing well with house training but needs consistency and frequent potty breaks. He is still learning to trust, so patience and a gentle approach will be key to helping him feel secure.
