Velvet

Velvet is a sweet and charming female puppy ready to find her forever home! She's part of a litter of five adorable mixed-breed puppies whose mom, Buttons, was rescued from a difficult situation. Thankfully, Buttons and her pups are now safe, healthy, and eager for their next adventure. Velvet's mom appears to be a Shih Tzu/Poodle mix, possibly a Cockapoo, and the puppies might also have some Collie, Australian Shepherd, or German Shepherd in their lineage, hinting at a possible Aussie-doodle blend. Velvet has a soft, medium-to-long coat that will need regular brushing and grooming. We expect her to grow into a small to medium-sized dog.

Ideal Home

Velvet has been raised with children, cats, and other dogs and is approved for homes with all of them.

Ongoing Health

Velvet has been spayed or neutered, vaccinated four times for DHPP (Distemper/Parvo), Bordetella, and Rabies. She is microchipped, dewormed, has a negative fecal test, and is current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She has also been examined and cleared for adoption by a veterinarian.

Training & Support

No specific training needs are noted, but as a puppy, she will benefit from continued socialization and positive reinforcement.
