About Triton

Triton is a sweet and mellow boy who found himself as a stray at Animal Services. He was quite matted when he was rescued, but he's now cleaned up and ready to find his forever home! Triton's funny walk is due to a birth defect where both of his femurs are curved, causing his knees to turn outward. While he gets around well, he does have arthritis due to the wear and tear on his knees and is on daily anti-inflammatories. In the future, he may need a wheelchair, but for now, he's plenty mobile on his own. Triton isn't a big fan of walks, but he absolutely adores belly rubs! He loves to be with his people and has small bursts of excitement when playing. Dinner is his favorite time of day! Triton enjoys playing with toys but also likes to eat them, so he can't have any stuffies. He does, however, love a good chew bone.

Ideal Home

A home where he can be with his people and receive plenty of belly rubs. He cannot have any stuffy toys due to his tendency to eat them.

Ongoing Health

Triton has arthritis due to a birth defect affecting his femurs and knees. He is currently on daily anti-inflammatories. He may require a wheelchair in the future.

Training & Support

Triton enjoys playing with toys but is known to eat them, so only chew bones should be provided.
