About Oreo (great with kids, calm, house trained, cuddly, friendly)

Oreo is a sweet, friendly girl with a personality as delightful as her name! She greets everyone with a wagging tail and a toy in her mouth, eager to share her joy. After spending 10 months in a shelter, Oreo underwent heartworm treatment and is now thriving in a foster home, ready to find her forever family.

She absolutely adores children, especially the 19-month-old toddler in her foster home. Oreo also enjoys the company of her foster canine brother, a male boxer, who has shown her the ropes. She hasn't met a human she doesn't like and yearns for love and affection. Oreo has a knack for making people smile, whether it's her tail thumping on the couch in excitement, her playful toy-carrying antics, or her gentle pawing for belly rubs. She loves her stuffed toys and is a big fan of playing fetch. Oreo also has a fondness for water and will be the first to jump into a kiddie pool!

Ideal Home

Oreo would thrive in a home that can offer her plenty of love and attention. If you have a doggy sibling for Oreo, she would do best with a laid-back male who can handle her vocal nature when she sees other pups on walks.

Ongoing Health

Oreo has completed her heartworm treatment.

Training & Support

Oreo is house-trained and can be left alone without destructive behavior. Her vocalness when seeing other dogs on walks is a work in progress, and her foster mom is actively working on this.
