Freyja is a beautiful girl looking for her forever home! She's an affectionate dog who would love nothing more than to snuggle up on the couch with her favorite human. Freyja's past was rough; she was found abandoned on a dark road, having recently had puppies who were nowhere to be found. Thankfully, a kind person rescued her, and now she's ready for a loving family. She absolutely adores her 9-year-old human foster sister, her favorite person! Freyja also loves car rides with the windows down. She's great off-leash and has a playful spirit that makes stuffed animals and beds jump with excitement.
Ideal Home
Freyja needs an experienced dog parent who has had large dogs before and understands how to work with shy and scared dogs. She would thrive in a home where her family can be with her most of the time.
Ongoing Health
Freyja is up to date on vaccinations and has a negative heartworm test.
Training & Support
Freyja is working on not jumping when excited, which is recommended due to her size. She will need help with housebreaking and establishing a consistent potty schedule. She is not a fan of her crate and can be vocal about it. As a typical pit bull, she will need strong chew toys to keep her happy and occupied. Patience and experience with training will help her reach her full potential as a wonderful companion.
