Ryka

Meet Ryka! This nearly one-year-old, 55 lb bundle of energy is back with us and ready to find her true forever home. Ryka had a rough start, coming to us with a broken leg and later returning after an adoption didn't work out. But after some extra care and putting on some weight, she's doing wonderfully and is eager to find her perfect match. Ryka loves to play with the dogs in her foster home, and she's already mastered crate and house training. She's a high-energy girl who is still very much a puppy at heart, making her the ideal companion for an active family. When she's tired, she's incredibly cuddly and just wants to be on your lap! She's also very treat-motivated and eager to learn, which will make training a breeze. Ryka walks wonderfully on a leash and would be a fantastic hiking or walking buddy. She's also great with kids!

Ideal Home

Ryka is looking for an active home that can keep up with her puppy energy. She's great with kids and enjoys playing with other dogs. Ryka does need to be fed separately in her crate for breakfast and dinner.

Ongoing Health

Ryka is fully vetted, including being up to date on all her shots, spayed, and microchipped. She is current on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention and is heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Ryka is crate and house trained and is wonderful on leash. She is very treat-motivated and eager to learn, making her a great candidate for continued training. She needs to be fed separately in her crate for breakfast and dinner.

Transportation

Ryka is available for local meet-and-greets. She can also be adopted out of state to approved adopters; a transport fee will apply in addition to her adoption fee.
