Hassie will happily convince you she's ready for every adventure you have planned. Once the fun is over, she'll be the first one curled up beside you on the couch afterward. At just 2 years old and 41lbs, Hassie is everything people love about a cattle dog – smart, loyal, and always happy to be with her people. She's a little more professional cuddle buddy than workaholic. Hassie's story almost ended before it really began. She found herself in a North Texas shelter, where she was running out of time before rescue stepped in and gave her the second chance she deserved. She's dog-friendly, crate trained, potty trained, and always up for tagging along on hikes, road trips, patio lunches, or wherever life takes you. When the fun is over, she's perfectly content to spend the rest of the day relaxing by your side. Like many cattle dogs, Hassie has natural herding instincts and can be a little too enthusiastic about trying to organize fast-moving little humans. She isn't looking for a perfect family, just the right one. Hassie has already experienced more change than any dog should. Through it all, she's never stopped loving people, chasing new adventures, or believing her forever family is out there somewhere. If you've been looking for a best friend who's equal parts adventure partner and couch companion, Hassie might just be your perfect match.
