Jesse Bear is one of those dogs that just seems genuinely happy to be included in whatever is going on. Everything about him is ridiculously cute, from his fluffy teddy bear face to his constant happy smile. He has such a soft, gentle look about him that instantly makes you want to hug him, and his personality is even sweeter! He leans into people for love like it's his favorite thing in the world, and being around him just feels easy and comforting. He's the type of dog that quickly becomes everyone's favorite without even trying.
Jesse Bear is believed to be a Shepherd/Husky mix, approximately 1 year old, and weighs 52 lbs. He is a rescue dog, and we cannot guarantee breed or age.
Ideal Home
Jesse Bear would be happiest in a home with children 8 years old and older. He would also thrive in a home with a fenced-in backyard rather than an apartment, as he loves being outside to explore, zoom, and soak up the sunshine. He just wants to be with his people, whether that's snuggling on the couch, going for a walk, or heading out on an adventure.

Jesse Bear is neutered, up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and on flea and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Jesse Bear is dog-friendly and has done well with dogs of various sizes. He matches the energy of other dogs during play and has shown to be respectful of other dogs when sharing treats. He also met our house cat, Biggie, appropriately and was very respectful. We can arrange for a sleepover with a cat upon request to ensure a good match.

Jesse Bear is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time.
A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
