Gary (AL)

Gary is a handsome 2-year-old Black and Tan Coonhound boy who found himself in our care as a stray and is now eagerly awaiting his forever home in Birmingham. He's a friendly, high-energy hound with a strong drive, and he's looking for a family who can provide him with structure, consistency, and plenty of engaging activities. Gary is currently completing a 6-week training program and has shown great progress and enjoyment during his sessions. He's a healthy 52 lbs and is also dog-friendly, so he would truly thrive with a younger canine companion to share his energy with. He's already crate trained and housetrained, making him a great candidate for a loving home.

Ideal Home

Gary needs a home that can offer him structure, consistency, and continued training or a job to do. He would thrive with a young doggie playmate. Absolutely NO small dogs, cats, or young children.

Ongoing Health

Gary is in good weight at 52 lbs. He is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Gary is currently completing a 6-week training program and has done well. He is crate trained and housetrained.
