A little about them
Meet Atticus, a 3-year-old Great Dane with a goofy spirit, a tender heart, and a devoted, protective nature. He loves being near his people, enjoys belly rubs, and would thrive with someone who is home often in a quieter household.
Ideal Home
Atticus gets along well with other dogs and currently lives happily with two Great Danes. He can live with cats after a proper introduction. Because he is protective of his people and home, he needs a relatively quiet household with limited unexpected visitors and no children. A secure 6-foot fence is required, and another compatible dog is preferred.
Ongoing Health
Atticus is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. No medical conditions are reported.
Training & Support
Atticus is house trained and trustworthy with free roam. He is not comfortable in a crate, but enjoys relaxing on a plush dog bed. He walks nicely on leash without pulling, is working on basic commands, and enjoys fetch and tug-of-war. Thunderstorms do not bother him. He may need time to settle into a new home, and his people-focused behavior improves as he feels safe and secure.
