Larry is pretty good on leash and has an independent, carefree personality. Like most German Shepherds, he thrives when he has both physical exercise and mental stimulation. He's the kind of dog who will enjoy having a job to do, places to explore, and people to share adventures with. For now, Larry is limited to leash walks while he finishes recovering from his heartworm treatment, but that doesn't stop him from enjoying time outdoors. In just a few more weeks, once his activity restrictions are lifted, he'll be ready to fully embrace his active lifestyle. Hiking, running, long walks, and outdoor adventures are all in Larry's future, and he's hoping to find a family that wants him right by their side.
