Tinkerbell is a truly special girl with a heart that's worth earning! She can be a little shy at first, observing new people from a distance. But once she decides you're a friend, her sweet, affectionate, and loving personality truly shines. She'll lean into your pets, offer gentle kisses, and curl up beside you, making you feel like her favorite person in the world. Watching her confidence blossom, especially around other dogs, is incredibly rewarding. Tinkerbell is believed to be a Pittie/Cattle Dog mix, around 1-2 years old and weighing 43 lbs.
Ideal Home
Tinkerbell thrives in a home where she can feel secure and loved. A home with a backyard is preferred over an apartment. She absolutely needs to have another dog in the home as canine companions help her feel more comfortable and confident. She has shown to be respectful and calm around cats and has also done well with children ages 8-14.
Ongoing Health
Tinkerbell is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. She has also had a heartworm test and treatment if needed.
Training & Support
Tinkerbell is crate trained, potty trained, and has wonderful house manners. She enjoys playtime with toys, spending time with her dog friends, and snuggling. She is looking for a patient family who will give her time to settle in.

Transportation
Tinkerbell is currently located in the Houston area. We offer nationwide transport via our rescue-run, USDA-certified transport system. We have drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick-up locations in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will be able to track your pet's journey in real time and receive photo updates. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
