About Ivy

Meet Ivy, a sweet and goofy girl born on March 11, 2025! Ivy was adopted as a puppy from a local shelter and, through no fault of her own, her family had to make the difficult decision to rehome her. She landed in a loving foster home and has been an absolute joy ever since. Now, we're on the hunt for the perfect forever family to shower with all the love she has to give.

Ivy's favorite pastime is a good game of fetch – a tennis ball is the quickest way to her heart! She also enjoys playing with her toys, going for walks, and is happiest when she's by her people's side. She's a smart cookie who already knows commands like "sit," "lay down," "come," "no," "go potty," and "go to your kennel." She's also happily potty trained and crate trained, and she thrives on a good routine.

Ideal Home

Ivy would thrive in an active family that enjoys playing and including her in everyday life. She absolutely adores children and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes.

Ongoing Health

Ivy is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Ivy can be a bit shy around unfamiliar men when she first meets them, often barking and backing away. Having been raised in a home with two moms, she hasn't had much exposure to men. With patience, kindness, and a few tasty treats (she's very food-motivated and loves watermelon, cucumbers, apples, ice cubes, and most treats!), she warms up quickly and becomes the most loving companion.
