Bear

Bear is a 6-year-old, approximately 18lb sweetheart who is looking for his forever home! He's a shorty, likely with some Basset Hound in his mix, and he has an abundance of love to give. Bear was surrendered when his elderly owner had to move to a nursing home. He's a quirky, fun, playful, and gentle boy who is obsessed with blankets – he always has to have one, no matter the weather, and will drag it everywhere he goes! It's absolutely adorable to watch him cover himself, play, eat, and then retreat back under his blanket.

Ideal Home

Bear gets along wonderfully with other dogs, both big and small, and also does great with cats. He loves children and asks only that they love him back as much as he loves them.

Ongoing Health

Bear will be fixed, heartworm negative, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, microchipped, current on dewormer, and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport.

Bear is house and crate trained.

Transporation

Bear is currently in Texas. He can be transported to various locations in the Central US and East Coast. Transport occurs every 2-3 weeks and includes stops in:
