Meet Drummond:
This little puppy should have been learning what it means to be loved in the short life he has lived.
Instead, he was abandoned at 16 weeks old.
Found as a stray, Drummond somehow found himself facing the world alone before he was even old enough to understand it. No warm bed. No family. No one looking for him at the end of the day.
And yet somehow, this sweet little soul still believes people are the greatest thing in the world.
In fact, if you sit down near him, Drummond will army crawl right over to you, as if he can't get close enough. He doesn't care about your job, your house, or what kind of car you drive. He just wants your attention, your affection, and a chance to be loved.
Drummond weighs about 11 pounds as of this bio writing and is expected to be around 20–22 pounds when fully grown. He loves toys, loves people, loves other dogs, and approaches life with the joyful optimism that only puppies seem to possess.
At around 4 months, he’s full of love and quickly learning to trust humans again. This playful, energetic puppy has a huge heart and a strong desire to become a cherished member of his forever family. He’s already showing he belongs right there on your lap — just give him a moment and you’ll be rewarded with the deepest, most contented sigh of relief and safety.
He comes running at full speed for toys or treats (often with his siblings in tow), and nothing gets in the way of playtime! Drummond has access to the yard and is already doing well going outside to do his business. He’s also very gentle and shares his food and toys with no issues.
He's playful, affectionate, and always ready to make a new friend. He's working hard on potty training and learning all the things a young pup needs to know to become someone's perfect companion.
The thing about Drummond is that he could have become fearful after being abandoned.
Instead, he became loving.
He could have stopped trusting people.
Instead, he army crawls toward them with hope in his eyes.
Somewhere out there is a family who will laugh at his goofy puppy antics, spoil him with toys, and never let him wonder again where he belongs.
Drummond is ready to spend the rest of his life loving someone.
Now he just needs someone to love him back.
Drummond gets a new home details:
He will be neutered soon, microchipped & vaccinated and would benefit from being adopted by a dog-loving person who understands he has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in with his new family.
Adoption fee is $425.
