Strawberry is a one-year-old, spayed female Cane Corso who is vaccinated and microchipped.
Despite a difficult past, Strawberry is one of the happiest and most outgoing dogs you'll ever meet. She absolutely loves people and greets friends and strangers alike with enthusiasm and a wagging tail (stump lol). Her zest for life is contagious, and she never misses an opportunity to make a new friend. Strawberry is incredibly smart, highly food motivated, and eager to learn. Training comes naturally to her, and she thrives when given the chance to work for treats and praise. She is a quick learner who enjoys engaging with her people and would excel in a home committed to continuing her education. She is also dog-friendly and enjoys the company of other canine companions, but has had limited social interactions so far so would need a larger companion that can handle her play style. Strawberry came to us through an AST cruelty seizure after being found in an abandoned home during an Alaska winter. She and two other dogs had been left behind without food, water, or heat, confined in heartbreaking conditions. Yet somehow, Strawberry emerged from that experience with her spirit intact. Rather than allowing her past to define her, she greets each day with optimism, affection (SO SO much affection), and excitement for what comes next. Now Strawberry is looking for a family who will show her what a loving home truly feels like. In return, she'll offer loyalty, laughter, and enough personality to fill an entire house.
