Granny Anny

Granny Anny arrived in our care heartbreakingly sick after coming from a backyard breeder situation. Her little body is exhausted from years of overbreeding and lack of medical care, and she is now fighting several serious health issues at once. She is currently on medical hold and receiving gentle, supportive care and ongoing veterinary treatment in a loving foster home where she is warm, safe, and finally being cared for with the tenderness she has always deserved. She is surrounded by comfort, patience, and people who are committed to giving her the best quality of life possible.

Ongoing Health

Granny Anny is currently battling pneumonia, heartworms, and has mammary tumors that cannot be safely treated yet. She is also suffering from severe overall weakness from long-term neglect and multiple past litters that have left her body tired and fragile. Because she is so medically fragile, it is not safe to spay her or address her tumors until she becomes much healthier.
