Lourdes

Meet Lourdes, a 2-year-old black Poodle/Maltese mix with a heart full of love to give, even though he's experienced fear and trauma early in life. Right now, Lourdes may bite out of fear, but he's simply trying to protect himself. He's dreaming of a patient and experienced home where he can learn to trust again and blossom into the devoted companion he's meant to be. Every small step he takes toward courage will be a wonderful triumph, and with the right family, he'll shower you with affection.

Ideal Home

Lourdes would thrive in a home with another confident dog who can help him feel safe and secure. He's looking for someone who can meet him where he is and provide the unwavering love, patience, and security he's been missing. We will not place our small breed dogs in homes with large breed dogs.

Ongoing Health

Lourdes is up-to-date on his vaccines and has been neutered.

Training & Support

Lourdes may bite out of fear, so he needs a patient and experienced owner who can help him build trust. He's seeking a home that can provide him with the love and security he needs to overcome his past traumas.

• All adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check, and final contract.
• The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.
• Adoption fees are variable, and Lourdes's adoption fee is $250. This fee includes up-to-date vaccines, microchip, and spay/neuter.
• Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet.
• We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs.
