Meet Messi, one of the adorable members of our FIFA World Cup Crew! This 9-week-old Aussie mix is a bundle of energy and love, named after a legendary soccer player. Messi and his siblings were born to a stray mama dog and were quickly scooped up by a rescuer to get the care they need. He's a smart, sweet, and playful pup who is already kennel-trained and eager to find his forever family. Messi has striking black and white markings, unlike his chocolate-and-white siblings. He's predicted to grow into a medium-sized dog, around 35-40 lbs, and is already up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccines and preventions.

Ideal Home

Messi would love a family that enjoys playtime and snuggles. He has been around children and would likely do well with cats.

Messi is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccines and preventions and has been dewormed. He will be spayed and neutered before transport.

Training & Support

Messi is already kennel-trained and described as very trainable. He's a smart and loving pup who will thrive with consistent guidance and affection.

• An additional $150 MA Quarantine Fee applies to all Massachusetts residents and any adopter adopting a pet from a Massachusetts foster home or facility. This fee helps cover quarantine boarding, veterinary exams, microchipping, and essential supplies.

Transporation

Messi will arrive in Smithfield, RI on 7/18/26 for non-MA residents. MA residents can pick up from our quarantine facility in Westport, MA on 7/20/26.
