Mondo is a stunning 5-6 year old, 50-55lb, neutered Australian Shepherd mix with a striking charcoal grey coat, white belly, and spotted legs. Don't let his age fool you – he's an active and happy guy who loves to play! Mondo is up-to-date on all shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He's potty and crate trained, rides well in the car, and enjoys the company of medium to large breed dogs, both male and female. He knows basic commands and is eager to learn more. Mondo is food motivated and loves a good game of chase in the yard!
Ideal Home
Mondo is not a couch potato or an apartment dog. He needs a home that can provide him with regular exercise, such as walks, hikes, or camping. He would do well as an only dog or with a canine companion. While he enjoys a good cuddle session on the couch, he needs to be an active part of your daily life. He could be a great fit for a family with school-aged children, a couple, or a single person. He absolutely cannot be tethered outside or have an electric fence.

Mondo is up-to-date on all vaccinations, is heartworm negative, and is microchipped.
Training & Support
Mondo knows basic commands and is a smart, agile learner. He is not currently off-leash trained. At his previous shelter, he had issues with fence climbing, but this has not been a problem in his foster home where he receives regular exercise. He needs to be an active participant in your life and not left in the yard unsupervised.
