Hello, I'm Callie! I landed myself in rescue when my "family" dumped me in front of ARFhouse one day; they threw me out of the car and took off. It took the ARF folks about a week to catch me. I was so scared and shy, but I never acted aggressively. It took several weeks for me to warm up; that can happen when a dog is thrown out like trash by the people she trusted most in the world. But as soon as I was able to come out of my shell, I showed them just how resilient we Pit Bulls can be! I am a silly, sassy girl; I am approximately 3-4 years old and I weigh 52 lbs. I get along great with other dogs and I love to run and play! I am still very shy when you take me out of my element, and it will take me a little longer to come out of my shell in a new environment than most dogs. But I promise I will, and I will show you how much love I have to give!

Ideal Home

Because of my size and energy level, I would not be suitable for an apartment. I will need a fenced yard so that I may run and play outside as I please.

Ongoing Health

The adoption fee of $200.00 includes spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations, and a microchip.

Training & Support

I am still very shy when you take me out of my element, and it will take me a little longer to come out of my shell in a new environment than most dogs, but I promise I will and I will show you how much love I have to give!

Transporation

Callie is currently located at our facility in Sherman, Texas. Adoptions are by-appointment only. If you would like to meet Callie, please fill out an application on our website. If approved, we will contact you within 48 hours to set up a time to meet Callie.
