June Bug

June Bug is a resilient and intelligent companion who endured a difficult past, having been chained outdoors with limited food and water, even resorting to eating sand to survive. He also battled heartworm disease under those harsh circumstances. Thankfully, he was freed and has blossomed into a loyal and eager-to-learn dog. His DNA reveals a mix of Llewellin Setter, Husky, and Staffordshire Terrier.

Ideal Home

June Bug would thrive in a home where he can continue to learn and grow. He gets along well with other large dogs and enjoys his comfortable space in an air-conditioned garage with a dog door.

Ongoing Health

June Bug has undergone significant medical treatment and is now healthy. He is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

He is crate trained and very willing to learn, having benefited from months of consistent daily training. While he is receptive to learning, he will need to be potty trained for indoor living, as he has never lived inside a home before. We will provide him with food, treats, and some monthly medications upon adoption, provided you meet our criteria.
