Torvi

Torvi is a playful and active German Shepherd mix, born on June 7, 2022, who is looking for her forever home. She loves going for walks and is excellent on a leash. Torvi can be a bit particular when meeting new friends and is dog and barrier reactive, so introductions to other pets should be slow and steady. She would do best in a home without small dogs, but she is comfortable with cats. Torvi doesn't do well in the heat, but she absolutely loves swimming, so a pool would be a huge bonus! She also enjoys the winter and doesn't get cold easily, making her a great companion for cooler months. Torvi is a big fan of car rides and would love to be your hiking buddy, exploring new places together.

Ideal Home

Torvi would thrive in a home that understands her need for slow introductions to new pets. She would do best in a home without small dogs, but she gets along well with cats. A home with a pool would be ideal for her, especially during warmer months.

Ongoing Health

Torvi runs hot in the summer and would benefit from a cool environment or access to water to swim.

Training & Support

Torvi is not yet crate trained and is not a fan of crates. She is motivated by food and enjoys using her nose for enrichment. She can be cautious when meeting new people but also enjoys affection. She is goofy, a little sassy, and would benefit from continued mental enrichment activities.
